Verdict

A race that has cut up badly leaving a most unsatisfactory outcome with a likely long odds-on shot taking on three poor rivals. John Dunlop's Discreet Brief showed useful form in juvenile maidens last season including placed efforts behind potentially smart performers at Newmarket and Doncaster. The daughter of Darshaan will prove well suited by the trip and should enjoy this confidence booster before setting her sights higher. Ishela has proved sorely disappointing on both starts to date while Silk St Bridget has clearly been difficult to train so Impinda, who has shown just a modicum of ability in bumpers, may prove the forecast pick.
