In depth

Verdict

The progressive GO GEORGE GO is penalised 6lb after landing a course and distance double with last week’s victory. But there looks plenty more to come from Alan Swinbank’s charge and he can go in again in this modest company. Henpecked and Maulesden May have similar form with recent seconds over track and trip though neither are the most reliable and First Summer steps up in distance having struggled since recording an earlier double over 1m2f at Chelmsford. It’s hard to make a case for either Summer Collection or Wordiness in their current form.
