John Dunlop has been firing on all cylinders this term and can add to the tally with Alafdal in a weak event. The son of Gone West was easy to back on his debut at Ascot last month and ran accordingly but the form has a solid look with both the second and third having won since and the step up in trip should suit the selection. Blackwater Fever shaped encouragingly on his sole juvenile start but his stable has been struggling to hit form and he is probably best watched on his return. Black Falcon showed some ability on his recent Doncaster debut and looks best of the remainder.
