        Verdict

        The main contenders here are up against it on ground faster than they would like. INTEGRAL won this a year ago but has only run twice this season, finishing a close fourth in the Lockinge before a poor run when odds-on at Royal Ascot where she didn't enjoy the very fast ground. However, Esoterique was a long way behind her at Royal Ascot last year on quick going and though she's the form pick on her close second to compatriot Solow in the Queen Anne Stakes she's averse to fast ground. Bawina was a close fourth in the Falmouth Stakes when not getting the best of runs but along with another challenger from France, Maimara, she would also want some rain which appears unlikely. Realtra and Raydara will enjoy the conditions better than most but their overall form falls short of what is normally required.
