      Verdict

Only half-a-dozen entries but all have some sort of chance. WINDHOEK was reported to be well short of fitness when landing the Tattersalls Millions here so his victory was a tremendous effort. He hung left through greenness, as he had on his debut almost a year earlier, and the Dante entry should have come on enough to take this stronger contest. Centurius will need to improve from his Nottingham victory but is certain to do so and High Octane will find this trip much more to his liking after staying on strongly in a Listed contest over a mile at Leopardstown. Hoarding hasn't quite matched his juvenile form so far nor has Maxentius, who has been beaten in a couple of Polytrack Listed contests and was behind Unsinkable at Lingfield last time. The latter is a really nice prospect for Richard Fahey and looks the main threat as he will have needed the run on his reappearance.
