In depth

Formwatch

Distant Diva Has been steadily improving all season but this has not gone unnoticed by the handicapper; should be challenging for a place.

Bonny Ruan Much improved effort last time out at Nottingham in a true run race; every chance if reproducing that effort although has yet to race on a soft surface.

Woodsmoke (IRE) Below par last time out at Sandown having previously run up to his best at Bath; live chance.

Historic Treble Soft ground winner last time out but looks below the level needed to land this type of competitive event.

King Harson Has not been at his best on his last couple of starts and looks likely to struggle unless reproducing form of July when he finished just 5l behind the useful Good Girl.

Addo (IRE) Has been running well of late but improvement curve would need to be a lot steeper to play a major role today.

Orlass (IRE) Haydock specialist who may find this on the sharp side; seems to take an age to get going so uphill finish may help.

Zamyatina (IRE) Overall level of form looks below what is needed to land this competitive event although did run best race on a soft surface.

Secret Spoof Seems better suited by 6f on a firm surface and although trainer has good record in this. type of event others preferred today

Dangerous Liaison Quality run in defeat last time at Nottingham gives this exposed colt every chance; has run all right on a soft surface but not up to his best.

Marechal George Generally consistent and trainer beginning to hit better form; has only raced on fast ground and may struggle if it comes up sticky.

In The Green Ran up to his best last time on firm ground; looks on the upgrade and could go close at a decent price; trainer in fine form.

Dizzy In The Head Seems better over 6f but has run creditably over 5f; does not seem totally happy on soft ground and may struggle for out of form stable.

Silver Charmer Looks out his depth here today.

Blueberry Rhyme Look to be improving but a lot more required here to figure.

Nieve Lady Best effort came over 5f on soft so cannot be totally discounted though was very disappointing last time out.

Shirley Collins Form shown so far looks below the level required.

Marion Haste (IRE) Seems to have lost his way of late and is best watched here.

Aahgowangowan (IRE) Won well yesterday but step back in trip a slight concern; could go close if taking her chance.

Concubine (IRE) Stable in good form and horse progressing well; should go well and could spring a surprise.
