Riotous Applause, Lady Lily and Plucky are the three that are shortlisted here with Riotous Applause set to receive the acclaim. Riotous Applause has been tried in Listed class this season and has run creditably but without success. He is dropped back to handicap company here and this dual winner can land his third win. Lady Lily was a game winner at Pontefract last time and she seems to be striking form as this was her second win in three starts. She is still fairly treated and can hit the frame. Plucky is a lightly raced type who landed the odds at Chepstow before being headed close home in a better contest at Goodwood last time. This 300,000 guineas purchase is speedily bred so a drop back to six furlongs should not inconvenience her. Riotous Applause has had a break and can take advantage of this drop in grade.
