In depth

Verdict

Richard Hughes rides Glossy Posse, who should do better over further, but wouldn't have had the choice of Richard Hannon's pair as Paul Hanagan is claimed for Fleeting Smile, whose dam won 13 races in the USA including two Grade 1's. Kieren Fallon was on board when Annie's Fortune made her debut at Haydock and that experience won't have been lost on her. Summer Isles also made a positive start over this C&D last month and she should do better. Newfangled is by New Approach out of a winning miler so should have the pace for this but it's SINGAPURA who gets the nod as she's by Street Cry out of a mare who won a Grade 2 over 6f in the USA.
