Verdict

RIZEENA romped home in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and her octogenarian handler, Clive Brittain, will be hoping that she can produce the goods once again. That said, it will be no easy task to give away a 3lb penalty for that success and she is set to re-oppose One Chance, Fire Blaze and Fig Roll. The latter made a successful return to Newmarket in a Listed event and connections will hope that the extra furlong can bring about a reverse. Bye Bye Birdie was slightly disappointing at Royal Ascot though she went on to take a Group 3 at the Curragh in convincing fashion, and is worthy of another chance. Lucky Kristale and Princess Noor were well held in the Albany Stakes while Ayr maiden winner, Queen Catrine is of interest as her stable are not in the habit of making fanciful entries.
