Verdict

Berling is interesting with the yard having a good crop of juveniles, however MUFTI makes plenty of appeal on debut and is taken to oblige. Brian Meehan's son of Noverre is related to several winners across the globe, including over this mile trip. Having made 200,000 guineas as a foal, he is owned by connections with lofty ambitions and this multiple group race entered colt looks very much of interest. Rigidity also has the entries and Henry Cecil's half-brother to Dragon Dancer and Ajaan could run well if fully tuned up, whilst Tom Tate's Derby entry Karamojo Bell strikes as the sort who may be effective as a juvenile and therefore he is considered a threat. Comradeship doesn't have all the Group entries but represents a top yard who have won two of the last three renewals of this maiden, 650,000 guineas purchase Berling is from a top two-year-old family and looks a big player, whilst Ibn Hiyyan is capable of much better than his debut seventh at Ayr would suggest. Of the rest to have raced Dashing Doc sets the standard, however the feeling is that a newcomer will have the say and the vote goes to Mufti.
