In depth

Verdict

The maiden winners Murgan and High Baroque return to action and should be winning handicaps this year and so should Dance Of Fire. The latter was a close-up third at Chester earlier this month but Truth Or Dare remains hard to win with despite placing again on the all-weather last time. Laurence and Franklin D won handicaps over today’s trip last season and Master Of Finance was successful in heavy going at Pontefract last month. But stablemate REVOLUTIONIST has been thereabouts in decent handicaps of late both here and at York last time and Mark Johnston’s charge gets the nod on that form.
