Verdict

The Hannon yard has won the last two renewals and has three runners in this with Tom Hark making most appeal of those. He attempted to make all when runner-up over 7f at Sandown last time but Pasticcio succeeded in making every yard to beat a subsequent winner on the Turf course at Lingfield last month. Epsom winner SCUTUM (NAP) has found things happening too quickly over 7f recently. But this longer trip will give him more time to find top gear and he gets the nod. Brighton maiden winner Shaakis failed to cope in Class 2 company at Goodwood earlier this month and Popeswood looks pretty exposed in this company.
