    Verdict

    BROKEN STONES made a winning racecourse debut at York and Kevin Ryan’s colt will likely start a short price for this having finished third in the Group 2 July Stakes here on his latest start. Van Der Decken shares a similar profile to the selection but the Curragh winner could only manage fifth in the Coventry at Ascot last month. Unabated is another winning debutant though it was soft ground when he scored over track and trip and he steps up in class along with Dourado.
