In depth

Verdict

Alsadaa may prove too strong in this maiden with Uno and Jewaar put forward as the main dangers. The selection was unsuited by the soft ground last time when well beaten by Cousteau. However he had run well on his debut and with the return to this faster ground very much in his favour he gets the vote. Uno is the obvious danger as she improved for her debut when a close second behind Muzher last time. She is clearly going the right way and is considered. Jewaar has been a little disappointing on her two starts to date so it will be interesting how she gets on today now that she is dropped in trip. Sasetti is an interesting newcomer from a yard in flying form, but Alsadaa is a likeable type and he looks the percentage call.
