Game Pie, MOHATEM, Secateur and Kitten's Red all made their debuts in the race won by Commemorative over this trip at Doncaster a fortnight ago. The former led for a long way before fading into fourth, just ahead of Barry Hills' expensive colt, who finished very strongly and is taken to land this. Secateur also stayed on from the rear and will be better for the experience but Kitten's Red was a long way behind. All of the newcomers have very smart pedigrees and it's a matter of conjecture which of them will be sharp enough though Charlie Appleby's horses are flying so Chorus Of Lies could be the pick.
