        Verdict

        PACTOLUS comfortably landed a maiden over this trip at Kempton in January and was having his first subsequent start when catching the eye over a furlong shorter at Windsor earlier this month. With that under his belt he can take this for Stuart Williams though there are plenty of dangers. Outlawed looked a nice prospect when landing a Salisbury maiden but faces no easy task on his handicap bow and the progressive Sandown winner Twin Point may prove more of a threat with just 4lb extra to contend with. Iftaar was a disappointing favourite when attempting to make all at Leicester but Nirva could be capable of better on this quicker ground.
