Yarrow was a disappointment stepped up to 1m6f at Goodwood last time and Yorkidding is preferred after a good effort at York. The latter narrowly beat Masterpaver at Ascot last month but a chance is taken that the less exposed WALPOLE has further improvement in him. Hugo Palmer’s charge returned to winning ways at Thirsk earlier this month and steps up in class today. Ascot winner Real Dominion found a 9lb hike beyond him last time while Great Glen came up short on his handicap debut having won a maiden at Lingfield earlier.
