Rotherwick has already won twice over this trip this season and is still in good form judged on his latest second at Yarmouth, though possibly a couple of pounds too high at present. Mon Beau Visage is on a hat-trick after victories at Thirsk and Redcar but the ability to stay 1m2f is usually a plus in this Cambridgeshire consolation and the progressive Daira Prince fits the bill on that score. He makes more appeal than stablemate Mountain Angel, who is closely matched with Afaak on Doncaster running in the summer. Fire Brigade has his first run beyond a mile and would have preferred softer ground but ADDEYBB has plenty in his favour. He’s only had the four starts but has quickly developed into a useful sort with 1m2f on soft going just proving too far at Goodwood last time – three-year-olds have held the upper hand in this in recent years.
