        Verdict

        The Richard Hannon-trained Mutasayyid landed the spoils in this last year in the colours of Hamdan Al Maktoum and that partnership represented this year by Taqwaa, who won a Chepstow maiden by nine lengths in August. But, unsurprisingly, retained jockey Paul Hanagan has opted to ride impressive Wolverhampton winner Tawakkol, who may have improved over the winter. His trainer, Mark Johnston, also runs Montsarrat who was second on his reappearance at Wolverhampton and won three times in his first season. Dolphin Vista made all at Ripon but FOLKSWOOD looks the interesting one making his handicap debut. He won nicely over 7f at Goodwood in August and the second and third have franked the form since - stepping up a furlong will suit.
