Verdict

The unbeaten Damson who is already favourite for next year's Guineas is taken to maintain her unbeaten record at the main expense of Soar and Suez. The selection won well last time when defeating Oratorio over this trip. She has plenty of scope for improvement and is taken to win again. Soar rates the main danger but the last time she met the selection she was beaten by half a length. Granted that was over 5 furlongs but this longer trip looks sure to suit Damson just as well and there is no reason why the form should be reversed. Suez is another that is bidding to maintain an unbeaten record and she won well last time out when defeating Castelleto in a Listed race. However, she will need to have improved again to cope with the step up to Group class. Jewel In The Sand looked very progressive until her last run when she was very disappointing. Connections could not offer any explanation and have found none since so she can not be backed with any confidence until we know she is back to her best. The remainder are sure to win more races but this is a massive step up in class for them, and for the winner we return to the unbeaten Damson.
