Verdict

Though he carries a triple penalty it’s impossible to oppose LEAPAWAY as he goes in search of a four-timer. Philip Hobbs’ six-year-old beat Havisham six lengths at Stratford in July and was heavily eased after jumping the last. Throckley has placed on the Flat this year and didn’t fare too badly back over hurdles at Worcester but Il Sicario and Dream Free look modest performers and it’s even more difficult to make a case for Plymouth Sound and Vanderbilt.
