In depth

Verdict

Gowanauthat is in the form of his life but a further 7lb rise since completing his hat-trick at Fontwell might have tipped the balance. Southwell winner Strongly Suggested found 2m too short at Uttoxeter and is better than that. Lucky Jim should be winning over fences soon while Theatre Mill went close two runs ago and ran better than final result suggests next time at Market Rasen. We'll take a chance on COURT FRONTIER in the hope that the forecast rain arrives. Paul Morgan's Irish import wasn't disgraced on his first start for new connections at Bangor and has been dropped 4lb since.
