In depth

Verdict

Marigolds Way ran out a comfortable winner over C&D on her latest start but has been raised 8lb for that success and may be vulnerable now. Lord Lescribaa won over a much longer trip here at the start of the month but appeared to find this distance an insufficient test of stamina here last week and races from 4lb out of the handicap proper today. Kisha King and Kiama have both been well beaten in recent starts but The Duke's Speech will have needed the run at Market Rasen 11 days ago and could be interesting. PROPHETE DE GUYE gets the vote, however, as he ran a cracking race off his new mark at Wetherby earlier this month and will enjoy the going.
