Verdict

Dardanella was narrowly beaten on her debut for Richard Lee and though she's placed twice in bumpers, it's worth noting that those performances obtained in races that were against her own sex. We'll offer our vote to LAURENS RUBY as the four-year-old may just be open to more progression. John Flint's filly is in receipt of all of the allowances and her dam is daughter of smart Flat performer, Double Eclipse. State Department has clearly had problems and one would imagine that connections will be using this assignment as a stepping-stone to a hurdling campaign. Deer Park shaped encouragingly in a Stratford bumper on debut, whilst Follow The Tracks switches to racing under Rules having scored at Brampton Bryan on his last race between the flags.
