In depth

Verdict

Ebony Jack is preferred to Blaze Ahead and Satco's Deception. The selection is something of an old stager over these extreme trips and with rain likely, his chances appear to be strong under the circumstances. Blaze Ahead isn't one of the more obvious winners but has to be respected as an inmate of the Brendan Powell stable. The yard have attempted to land a few gambles of late and the market is watched. Satco's Deception is a consistent enough individual although rain would not help matters. Keltic Lord is another to make less appeal in the event of rain. Even Flo has shown some aptitude for cut in the ground and cannot be dismissed off a light weight. Beauchamp Prince looks a far from straight forward sort. A tough race as it should be and Ebony Jack looks the percentage call.
