    Verdict

Insignia is back over fences after falling when favourite over hurdles at Plumpton last month. He's a very tricky ride and isn't one to rely upon. Macmar won have won this in a canter in his heyday but it's a long time since he's shown any worthwhile form over the larger obstacles, while Casual Garcia was pulled up on a return visit to Plumpton after winning at the track last month. Mortar is chasing a hat-trick after wins in a point-to-point and a hunter chase but this may rest between Sir Bumble and SUMNER. The former will appreciate the longer trip after finishing second over 2m1f here last time but the latter, runner-up at Southwell eight days ago, has more scope and can land the spoils.
