SAIGON CITY looks a typical Luca Cumani improver and has sneaked in here near the foot of the weights despite making a winning handicap debut at Yarmouth, where he had more in hand than the official margin suggests. He can double up though Defiant Spirit is even less exposed and got off the mark at Ffos Las on his third start while Magistral warrants a mention, though maybe hasn't made as much progress as initially anticipated. Loved One took a while to get the hang of things but eventually won over course and distance before finishing second on her handicap bow at Windsor and Al Mukhdam was just beaten when dropping into this grade at Catterick. Veeraya, Regal Silk and Freeport were all disappointing last time however.
