Verdict

Lady Pimpernel ran well when dead-heating for second on her debut over 7f at Chepstow. She's certain to be suited by this extra furlong while Beat Of The Drum caught the eye when sixth at Newmarket, though the latter has plenty of speed in her pedigree and wouldn't want a slog through the mud. MUTHMERA was just behind Nasijah on her debut at Leicester but was very green that day and should be much more the finished article here. Roger Varian's filly can reverse that form now. Waila is a full sister to a 7f two-year-old winner so could prove the pick of the newcomers ahead of Capella's Song and Lyric Ballad.
