Leftontheshelf is the pick at the weights but preference is for SPINIGHT whilst Royal Bloom and Abhainn are amongst those that could compete for minor honours. John Spearing has a decent strike rate at this level and his charge merits respect following a decent performance at Yarmouth. That track has been the scene of her best performances since an encouraging debut behind Jargelle at this track. Spinight is still a maiden but his recent performances have been good enough to believe that he can break his duck in the right race and this is certainly a feasible opportunity. He isn't straightforward but may still be good enough to take this. Royal Bloom has generally been well held but may benefit from this drop in grade whilst Abhainn is more experienced but comes into this on the back of a decent run and is effective at this trip. It's a struggle to make cases for the remainder and Spinight is the call.
