DANNY'S CHOICE and Excellent Thought are the two to concentrate on with Il Forno best of the rest. Willie Haggas has landed the last two runnings of this race so it looks significant that he sends Excellent Thought here. Her debut form was only ordinary but there was more to like about her Windsor second behind a progressive individual. Danny's Choice showed good speed after a slow start at Lingfield but just got run out of it close home. She's been given plenty of time to recover from those exertions and wouldn't need to find a great deal of improvement in order to go one better. Il Forno was the first home on his side at Ripon so probably deserves rating a little better than the bare form. Both of his starts have come with cut in the ground but he should be just as effective on a faster surface. Russian Davis is worth a market check but few of the remainder make any obvious appeal and it would be a surprise if this didn't go the way of Excellent Thought or the selection, Danny's Choice.
