        Verdict

        RED BALLOONS ran far better than finishing positions suggests at Royal Ascot in the Queen Mary Stakes, tiring only in the closing stages. Her previous runner-up effort to the useful No Lippy also reads well and she's taken to maximise the weight received from More Than Likely who arrives in search of the three-timer and with Stephen Cummins booked to offset 7lb of her double penalty. The latter was always controlling her last race against a useful rival in Miss Elsa and is the standout danger. No More Regrets came home last in the Albany Stakes at the Royal meeting but had shown useful French form previously and is interesting on her debut for Richard Hannon. Hatha and Not So Shy are going the right way and add further spice to an attractive contest.
