Verdict

Mon Beau Visage has the ability to go close although a little respite from the handicapper would not come amiss, whilst Afendem is another continuing to suggest his turn is near. Michele Strogoff has compiled a really consistent sequence since joining Michael Appleby and should be in contention once again, although it is worth noting that he is also entered to run at Sandown on Friday. Mushtaq has been performing consistently in the new campaign but fellow three-year-old THE LAST EMPEROR is preferred. He remains relatively unexposed, inhabits a fair mark and his reappearance run at Haydock looked very much a case of blowing away the cobwebs after a ten-month absence.
