        Verdict

        Roy Bowring has won this three times in the last six years with Divertimenti and will be hoping FIRST EXCEL can keep up the sequence. The four-year-old was in the lead at this trip over an extra furlong at Leicester last time and hopefully can hang on this time. The local handler also runs the year younger Men United but his only success in 18 starts was on Polytrack. Loumarin hasn't won on Turf for over two years while Camdora and Triple Dream are also better on the all-weather. Tahiti One is yet another who is still a maiden on Turf though he didn't run badly over an extra furlong at Brighton last time.
