Verdict

Uncle Dermot deserves to win a race at Nottingham having gone close on a couple of occasions but with conditions unlikely to be soft enough for him, we'll take WOOLSTON FERRY to get back to winning ways. Henry Candy's seven-year-old hasn't been seen since disappointing at Windsor last October, but he looked a well- handicapped horse when obliging at Pontefract earlier in the season and he can give a good account off a 4lb higher mark tonight. Sword In Hand took part in a Kempton handicap that is beginning to work out, and if he acts upon the prevailing going, he could be a danger to all. Lord Of The Dance is arguably better known on artificial surfaces than on turf, though there's no disputing that he won with something in hand at Haydock last time. Kiwi Bay is starting to look exceptionally well treated these days and the drop back to a mile shouldn't inconvenience Michael Dods' veteran.
