Verdict

A tricky race to call in the opener with so many debutants, but we will side with GILLBURG ahead of newcomer King's Approach and Military Call. The selection showed promise on his debut over course and distance when finishing third of eight. He was not beaten far that day and with experience now on his side he ought to go close to breaking his maiden tag. Of the newcomers King¿s Approach makes plenty of appeal. Coming form the all conquering Richard Hannon stable who are infamous for producing their two year olds early and getting them fit for the job first time of asking. With that in mind he is worth noting for any support in the betting market. Military Call comes from another yard that do well with their early two year olds and he also makes appeal on his breading being by Royal Applause so once again he is another to take note of. But for the winner we return to Gillburg.
