In depth

Verdict

Barig Al Thumama is a newcomer to note and the market should reflect stable expectations on debut but PICTURE NO SOUND produced a pleasing first run at Doncaster when staying on from an initially unpromising position to come home in fourth spot. He should be ridden closer to the pace now with the benefit of experience and is preferred to First Drive. The latter failed to build on a fine debut when beaten at odds-on next time up but is well worth another chance back on turf. Pheidippides was the other one to reveal some ability on debut when overcoming a tardy start to finish in midfield at Windsor. He'll come on for that and is one to keep an eye on.
