Verdict

Pintura put in a pleasing debut and Red Avalanche is going the right way, but we will take a chance on newcomer EJAAB. The William Haggas-trained selection is by Kyllachy and therefore bred to be a speed horse, so this minimum trip looks ideal. Related to many high quality winners over sprint trips, he is likely to know his job first time and we will side with him. Pintura showed up well at Windsor last time and handled fast ground well and we would anticipate improvement, which may be good enough to win. The same can be said of Paul Cole's Red Avalanche, who has had two runs to date and looks on the upward curve. Richard Fahey's runners continue to go very well and he gives Newbury Street its debut here. The Namid colt is another related to plenty of juvenile success and it would be no surprise to see him go very well. Ejaab is the one for us.
