Verdict

Lilywhite Gesture was due to run yesterday and would need to be taken seriously if turned out again off a decent mark in a better race. However, BAYSBROWN is still open to improvement over timber and has gone really well here the last twice, especially when a close second last time behind the improved Wyfield Rose. Conditions are fine for the Richards inmate, who can notch that all-important first success over hurdles. West End has already made one successful sortie north of the border when with Kim Bailey and is one for the short-list as he aims to repeat the dose for new connections. Johnny Go stayed on to good effect to land a course and distance success in late July but it must be noted that hitherto all victories have come with soft in the going description.
