In depth

Verdict

The Wicketkeeper, Lofty Leader and No Greater Love are the three that are shortlisted here, with impressive last time out scorer The Wicketkeeper taken to collect. Lofty Leader was getting reward for some consistent efforts when scoring over the course and distance last time, although he was a little fortunate to do so, as he was left in the lead at the last. He is taken to confirm the form with the runner-up, Shares, despite slightly worse terms. A winner of a Southwell maiden on the Flat, No Greater Love has run well in all three of his chasing efforts to date, finally scoring at Huntingdon last time. He should not be disregarded off his low weight. The Wicketkeeper stepped up on hurdling form when making a winning chasing debut at Towcester. He was always going well in that contest and won easily. Raised twelve pounds for that success, he will find things tougher in this more competitive contest, but The Wicketkeeper can run them into the ground.
