Verdict

Seven runners go to post for this intermediate hurdle race and it should pay to follow a team in form so COOL MISSION gets the nod ahead of Leggy Lad and Caerlavrock. The selection was disappointing on his latest start where he had to concede a double penalty to all his rivals. He still put in a good effort though finishing second to a decent horse giving him 17 lbs. His form beforehand was decent and today's task in a lot easier than the one he faced 26 days ago. Considerable drying of the ground may not suit the son of Definite Article so beware. Leggy Lad is an Irish raider from the Stephen McConville yard. He was brought down on his latest start in a hot race but was beaten at the time. Today's task is easier and he should enjoy he quick ground. Caerlavrock won't be far away either but softer ground would be ideal. Cool Mission just gets the short head verdict ahead of Leggy Lad.
