Verdict

Another race which is complicated by the fact that a couple of the likely principles were due to run here yesterday. Outrageous Request and Formal Bid were both entered in the claimer and the former was beaten more than six lengths when only fourth behind Dhualar Dhar here earlier in the month, though will be 7lb better off today if taking part. Mikey Ennis steered Cadore to an easy victory over track and trip at the end of July and goes well here. But COOL BARANCA gave him 10lb and a beating over course and distance last year and Dianne Sayer's mare may be ready to win again off her current mark. She makes more appeal than May's Fontwell winner Marcus Antonius and the four-year-old Indepub.
