Verdict

TOSHI may not be the force of old but he knows where the winning post is here and races off the same mark as when runner-up to Skylancer over C&D last month. He has the beating of Long Distance and King Brex on that run and is preferred to last month's Down Royal third Mighty Whitey and the frustrating Hunters Belt. Urban Kode had Long Distance back in third when winning an amateur riders' race here in July and could go well under a 10lb claimer but Toledo Gold was beaten a long way when second at Bangor and Tamarillo Grove isn't easy to catch right. Grand Diamond and Rockazar could figure if on song however.
