Verdict

Bold Perk won by 19 lengths at Hereford 10 days ago but couldn't transfer that improvement to hurdles at Uttoxeter on Sunday, going down by more than four lengths off the same mark. He carries a penalty here over a shorter trip and may be worth opposing given his busy schedule. Preference is for KARINGREASON, who took a while to get the hang of jumping fences but won at Market Rasen last month before finding only the well-backed Another Trump too good off this mark at the same track. She can regain the winning thread here getting weight from maiden hunter chaser Norwich Flyer. Tranos won at Sedgefield in April but has found this trip beyond him in the past.
