Verdict

Nothing strong here, even though The Lion Dancer was a runaway winner eventually last time when scoring by 29l over course and distance. He clearly has his quirks and that was the first decent form since landing a point-to-point success, although there were times on that latest run when he looked likely to tail off before suddenly choosing to race properly. He is inexperienced and seems likely to improve again but is not one for the mortgage. There are doubts about King Cool at this trip so a chance is taken with FEARSOME FRED but only to very conservative stakes. He's yet to jump a fence under Rules but did come home second in a point and a reproduction of the best of recent hurdling form would see him go close. Two Hoots has claims if on a going day off a fair mark.
