In depth

Verdict

Kublai has a decent form chance but the concern has to be his absence since August when he shaped well in similar handicap company but on much quicker ground. Interesting to see first-time tongue tie and cheekpieces are also applied by the stable who also run recent Towcester runner-up Hill Fort. Both are respected but BENBECULA makes greater appeal with Bryony Frost booked. The Mitchell inmate has improved with each run this term and seems ready to strike over a trip which will suit. Ideally he would not want the ground to turn to heavy. Lizzie Langton is also noteworthy as she's lightly-raced and showed her first real signs of form last time and could improve again. Ramore Will concedes weight all round but is not ruled out on this return to timber.
