    Verdict

It may just be worth taking a chance with BABY CAR on his return to action although we're likely to know our fate fairly early as the market should point the way to his chances. He didn't show an awful lot in three starts for this yard in 2009 but Richard Johnson has a fair strike rate and a level stakes profit when riding for his father-in-law and this race wouldn't look to be the strongest. That brings handicap debutant Tuppenny Piece into the picture given her respected connections but Dormouse has more obvious claims having run well the last twice and should have a say in the outcome once again. Red Current has claims whilst Switched Off has shown improved form for this yard on the Flat since last in action over hurdles and would be a threat to all if transferring that improvement to the winter game.
