Verdict

Brigadore doesn't have the best strike-rate but has won here before and his trainer has a positive record at the course, whilst Burnthill has shown jumping ability in points and is yet to show much under rules. The form has been franked for SPIDER BOY who went down to Amuse Me last time out. The winner has subsequently scored yesterday and Spider Boy gets the vote to add to a relatively sparse number of victories. Brilliant pulled up on his return from a protracted break but did well to pull clear to win at Fakenham last time and looks a real danger. Curragh Dancer also brings winning form to the field and may be able to go on now he has finally got his nose in front. Winning Show fell behind Curragh Dancer most recently but has versatile wins over timber, fences and on the flat and could play a role. Spider Boy gets a tentative vote in what looks a competitive finale.
