        Verdict

        Red Orator won twice at Fontwell in August but Mount Vesuvius, runner-up on the second occasion, hasn't done much for the form since. Guards Chapel hasn't won over hurdles since 2013 but has scored on the Flat this year. Snippetydoodah was starting to get his act together in the spring but hasn't raced since April and THREEBARMYMEN has been absent since May. However, the latter looked to be coming to hand at Kempton when last seen and is probably on a fair mark at present.
