Verdict

Las Verglas Star makes little appeal on last month's effort at Doncaster and stablemate Lady Loch is preferred with Paul Hanagan on board for her reappearance. Kingsdesire faded badly in the home straight on his only start at Meydan in January and is better than that, while Easy Terms and Licence To Till are others with a chance. Silvery Moon is attempting to land a hat-trick in this event for Tim Easterby and Moccasin is interesting on his debut for a new yard. Gowran winner, Fluidity, has joined Nigel Tinkler but another Irish import, HIT THE JACKPOT, is preferred. He had a pipe-opener in the Lincoln on his first start for current connections and gets the speculative vote back up in trip given former trainer Dermot Weld considered him good enough to run in last year's Group 3 Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown.
