Know The Law knows how to find one too good and so Abydos gets the vote now back on quick ground. Godolphin bring two runners up to Pontefract here and Abydos brings a fair level of form to the race. Not beaten by much more than a length on debut, he then disappointed on soft ground at HQ. This son of King's Best should be more at home on today's ground and can record a win at the third attempt. Stablemate Bold Glance looks the second string on jockey bookings, but still needs a check in the market, whilst Know The Law appears the main danger. David Elsworth's son of Danehill Dancer is yet to win in six starts but has shown a decent level of ability; he steps up in trip today which is not guaranteed to suit on breeding but nevertheless he must be feared. There are plenty here returning from an absence, perhaps the most interesting two being Wraith and Wyeth. The former showed a bit of ability on his debut and should be suited by today's extra trip, whilst Wyeth has a similar profile. Both, however, will need to be pretty fit if they are to last home up the hill. At a price Mysterious World could grab a place, however Abydos is fancied to lead them home.
